Hello and Welcome to the official Southeast Conference Trailblazer Blog! We've created this blog to hear directly from you the campers. We've just wrapped up the 2008 SEC Trailblazer Camp where we got "Wet and Wild about Jesus", and we'd love to hear about your experiences.
The Camping Committee of the Southeast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church exists to reach children and teens with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We accomplish our mission through fun, fellowship, worship and sharing in the diversity of the broader body of the Southeast Conference. We offer at camp teaching from God's Word, small group Bible discussions, prayer, one on one sharing, singing and FUN!
So drop on in and leave us a note. We'd love to hear from you!

I was able to experience Trailblazer Camp for the first time as CIT this year. The kids were great, and I had an awesome time. The SEC Camping ministry is really staying focused by equipping these kids to become strong ambassadors for Christ. I'll be back next year!
We are preparing our 2009 budget and need to know how much the Trailblazer Camp for 2009 will be. Our children had an awesome time this year and we'd like to be better prepared for the costs this next year. Thanks so much for all of the hard work that makes this camp special for the children.
Cathy,
Thank you so much for your tireless efforts in making camping in the Southeast Conference memorable, fun and life changing. Because you have allowed God to use you, dozens of children's lives have been transformed and they now have a personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thanks to you and your team of tireless volunteers, the SEC, our local churches and communities, and our nation are indeed better!

Congratulations Cathy!! What you do in this Conference for our kids is exciting and encouraging. You are an excellent example of a person who knows what it means to put faith into action based on your biblical principles and morals. You have been, and will continue to be, a great asset to the Kingdom of God.
I sincerely thank you!!
This camp shows what our Conference can accomplish as a team. All of our churches working together is what makes this camp "happen" every year. This will be our 5th in '09 and everyone that works so diligently to promote this camp for youth hopes to see many new churches and faces at what is shaping up to be a GREAT camp!
Trailblazer Camp will be held August13-16th due to CHIC this year.Camping Committee has tried to keep cost down as much as the economy will allow. Adults and CIT'S are $110 and campers are $160
There is some scholarship money and with God's grace more will become available. He has provided thus far!
Hi everybody I am Brittany Everett and I go to Kallam Grove Christian Church. I have been going to the Trailblazer camp ever since it started. I have so much fun there. We get to do crafts, play games, ride canoes, and paddle boats. We go swimming and just have fun. We learned a lot of stuff while we were at camp. At camp we learned about God and I think it really brought us closer to him. It sure did me. Last year at camp that Saturday night some of my other friends and I accepted Jesus into our hearts and it felt really good to be able to do that. Recently I was baptized and I think that the camp helped me to make that decision. I also want to give a shout out to Cathy and all the volunteers that helped. We could not have done this by ourselves. I want to tell Cathy thank you for all you do for us whether its at church or at camp. You are always following Christ. We all love you Cathy! Even though I am to old for camp now when I am old enough I will definitly be back as a CIT. So have fun at camp this year, I sure will miss you guys!
